SERVICES

BOOKING & CANCELLATION
POLICY

A 30% deposit reserves your session, with the balance due on the day of your shoot (cash or card, Apple Pay, Google Pay). Deposits are fully refundable up to 14 days before your session; within 14 days the deposit is non-refundable, as we've reserved that time for you and turned away other bookings.

A note on Hokkaido weather: Hokkaido's weather changes quickly, and that's part of the magic — some of our most beautiful portraits happen in falling snow or soft rain, and we're happy to shoot in both. For that reason, ordinary snow or rain isn't grounds for cancellation. In the rare case of genuinely unworkable conditions — a blizzard or heavy downpour — we'll make the call together on the day and reschedule your session at no extra cost, with your deposit carried over to the new date.

TRAVEL & LOCATIONS

Sessions in Sapporo and the immediate area include no travel fee.

Otaru — a favorite for its historic canal and old-town streets — is available for a flat ¥6,000 travel fee.

Furano, Biei, Niseko, Lake Toya, and beyond are full-day photo tours, planned and quoted individually

(see the Hokkaido Photo Tour entry in the services above). Get in touch and we'll build an estimate for the location you have in mind.

Good to know before you book

How and when do we get our photos?

You'll receive a private online gallery within one week of your session — all professionally edited, ready to download and share.

What happens if it rains or snows?

Hokkaido weather changes fast, and some of our best portraits happen in falling snow or soft rain — so ordinary weather isn't a reason to cancel. Only in a true blizzard or heavy downpour will we reschedule, at no extra cost, with your deposit carried over.

How do we book and pay?

A 30% deposit reserves your session, paid online. The balance is due on the day of your shoot (cash, PayPay, bank transfer, or card). Deposits are fully refundable up to 14 days before your session.

How far in advance should we book?

As early as you can, especially in peak seasons (cherry blossom, lavender, autumn color, winter snow). We'll always try to fit in last-minute requests when our schedule allows.

What languages do you speak?

We work in both English and Japanese, so sessions feel easy whether you're visiting from abroad, living in Hokkaido, or a local family.
